Organizing Paints

 I am so excited about this post. I hem hawed about this, knowing that I needed to do something but I just wasn't sure how to make this nasty under-the-step paint storage place better than it is. (I know...pretty much ANYTHING would have been better)

So, when I saw the idea on Martha Stewart's website to store paint in canning jars I knew that's what I wanted to do.

I emptied out all my old paint cans into jars and then label the jars accordingly.

If there was a color tag on the paint can, I stuck it to the back of the jar.

On the tops of the jars, I labeled where I used that particular color, for future touch ups.

By putting the paint in these jars I was able to get rid of all of these old grungy paint cans.

Now, my paint is all neat and will be much easier to make touch ups as well.

I love it!
