Tomorrow, my Better Half and I will of course celebrate Valentine's Day but more importantly today we are celebrating our 19th Wedding Anniversary. I use the word "celebrate" loosely because we don't really do much for these days but are so very thankful for each other nonetheless. My Better Half...I'll call him Mark (because that's his name <3) is a romantic. He always has been! This is what I come down to every morning.
He prepares my coffee and then leaves me a note each day.
They are adding up!!
He's also an amazing letter writer and card giver.
I went through the cards and notes that he had given me and that I had given him and decided to make note of the special phrases we have repeatedly said to each other over the years.
Because our bedroom is our sanctuary, I came up with the idea to put these phrases on our wall.
I printed out the phrases on a transparency and borrowed a projector from our church.
I projected them on the wall and took a permanent black marker and traced the projected words onto the wall.
It looked kinda plain once I got the words up there so I spruced it up with the stencil I had used on other walls in the room.
I love it! Our sanctuary is even more personal than ever!
Do you have anything special planned for Valentine's Day??
Blessings,

Whoa. Awesome! I was going to make him fresh cinnamon buns for breakfast. The daughter and I colored cards for him (she's 18 months so this was a feat unto itself). They are cute little hearts with her pen and crayon (sparkle crayons of course) art all over it. I helped her write I Heart Daddy on it. He's not a card guy but maybe he'll keep this one.
