While the picture was being taken, I told my mom I was going to crop my face out of the picture. "Why?" she asked.
{This, this is why!!}
This is my mom's scarf...Isn't it darling!!??
This is the scarf I made. My Princess said "Sorry Mom, but I like Mamo's better". That's ok, I think they're both pretty cute!The creative mastermind behind this idea is Amy over at Watch Me Daddy. She has a great tutorial if you want to make a scarf of your own.
You have to cut out 78 various sized circles and sew them together. It was pretty time consuming but cute nonetheless...hmmm, maybe I'll get started on some Christmas presents for next year...a scarf, anyone?

Really cute! I love this idea and you must get tons of compliments when you wear it!
ReplyDeleteI made one from the same blog post as a gift this Christmas. I was a bit disappointed at the way mine laid: it pretty much looked like a neck brace. Yours seems to lay more nicely in your photo. Maybe I need to just tweak the layout a bit.
ReplyDeleteI love the multi-colored one!
So cute, and a nice way to fancy up a blouse!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I am just learning about all these felt flower pretties now that I have a little girl!
ReplyDeleteI would love to receive one as a gift! Both scarves are beautiful! I may have to try to make one for next year.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Thank you for inspiring me : )
ReplyDeleteLooks darling on you! I love that you made it a mother/daughter adventure!! Thanks for linking back, and even more importantly for letting me come see your cute finished product.

I love the multi-colored fabric/felt? Is that felt or fleece?
ReplyDeleteThe multi-colored one is fleece...the off white one is felt. They both worked great!
