Mudroom Makeover - The Reveal

This has been a long time coming but I'm very happy to announce
THE MUDROOM REVEAL.
This all started here with a leak that caused extensive damage.
There was need for new and more insulation, new electrical work, and new flooring.  So, everything had to go.  The room went back to the studs.

At this point, things could only get better as we started putting things back together.

Ok, enough introduction...
Here you have it...My New Mudroom.

Here is how the "new" bench in the mudroom made it's evolution from changing table to bench...with 14 years of stops along the way.

My new sewing hobby helped in the process of making inexpensive curtains and pillow covers.

These dollar store boxes and the makeover gave us some extra storage and brought the room to life.

The work was done by My Better Half.  He has a desk job by day and is my personal handyman by night...gotta LOVE him!!
Thanks for being patient and sticking with me during this transformation.
What do you think??
Blessings,

  2. *sigh* Why oh why did I buy a house without a mud room! So many possibilities! Instead my kids coats bags and shoes get thrown in the foyer. I love the colors and fabric of your mudroom. It is so pretty, all it needs is a few shoes, hot-wheels cars and bookbags on the floor and it would be perfect! Just teasing. I like the looks of it clean also, I'm sure stuff will get scattered around plenty. Nice work.

My Mama used to say, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
I'll add, "If you HAVE something nice to say, share generously."
