Laugh Often - Love Deeply

Every time my mom is over she is eying my "Coffee Corner" sign and requested one for Christmas.  She doesn't have a coffee corner and so I needed to come up with something along the same lines but different so this is what I made:

I can't wait to give it to her.  I know she's going to love it as much as I do.  Now, I hope she doesn't see this before Christmas...don't you tell her!!

If you want to know how I made this, here's a little tutorial:
I took a recycled piece of decking and randomly dry brush painted it black.

Then I mixed black and red paint together and dry brush painted over the black.
I made stencils on my Cricut and then painted the letters white.
After everything dried, I sanded the whole thing to give it the rustic look.
I attached the star in the center.  I had salvaged it from a broken plaque.
That's how you do it...I will probably be making me one like this soon.  I think laughing often and loving deeply is the only way to go!
Blessings,

  1. I am with you! Laughing often and loving deeply! I love barn stars! I have them in my camper and they are a large part of my decorations for every season--I even have one with a jack o lantern on it for Halloween.

Your mom is gonna love it!

    Merry Christmas!

My Mama used to say, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."
I'll add, "If you HAVE something nice to say, share generously."
